Metaphysics of Essential Oils:

Where Science and Energetics Meet

with Virginia Joy Musacchio, MA, LMT, CA, RA

Metaphysics by definition is a branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world, although the term is not easily defined.

Science by definition is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

You really cannot separate the physical from the energy. It is like saying you can separate the physical body from the soul. We find the same to be true for essential oils and the plants and trees. There is a unique and deep synergy that exists in everything. To only consider the therapeutic components of an oil is selling the oils short because there is only “scientific” evidence on 60 components. Some of the components can not be separated from each other because they can not exist without each other. There is something more tapping into that is so powerful.
